You were pretty ahead of the curve with social analytics. Can you tell us a little about that?

When I started in social advertising in 2014 at Resolution, I recognized a deficit in social analytics. Digital media had elaborate, detailed measurement plans — and social was on the side, gathering follows and likes. I decided to challenge the Marketing Science Team with whom I’d been working, to think beyond the vanity metrics for social. They challenged me to explain its value to clients. So I did, and the idea caught on. I developed and expanded Resolution’s social analytics practice, then transitioned to broader analytics roles.

What drives your passion for work?

As much as I love data and analytics, relationships are what I enjoy most. I love to build understanding with my co-workers, and discover how we can be most helpful to one another. Some of my closest friends are current or former co-workers.

When it comes right down to it — whether we’re talking about analytics or co-workers — it’s all about finding meaningful connections.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Though it may sound corny, spending time with my family is my top priority outside of work. Whether helping with math homework, watching anime, cooking, or playing dominoes — I’m happiest when with my family.

I also have a line of hand-made skincare products, Flora’s Angels. It’s a therapeutic passion project for me — but I love the entrepreneurial aspect as well.
