What is your current role at Annalect?

I design, develop, and implement both internal and external facing training programs that enable data driven marketers to meet and exceed their performance goals.

Describe a passion you have for the type of work you do and how Annalect helps to feed your passion?

A life mission of mine is to contribute to the personal growth of others through media production. Being on the Annalect Learning and Development team empowers my pursuit of this mission in a venue where I can bring all my skills to the table.

Can you think of a project you were a part of that you really enjoyed? Why?

I really enjoyed designing and developing the rebranding of the user interface for our learning portal, Annalect University. I was thrilled to fully realize Annalect’s rebranding goals and the portal’s aesthetic potential.

What made you first enter your field? Was it planned or unplanned?

I entered the e-learning / training production field through a circuitous corporate video production route in my early career, as I began producing training seminar webcasts in social media and professional accounting venues. However, my drive to this latest career step, aligned with my deep interests in software platforms, data analysis, and marketing strategy, was intentional. Resulting from my professional development at Annalect, inherent in my role, I have recently become an expert technical writer.

What advice would you give to someone just starting his/her career in your field?

Technical troubleshooting, aesthetic decision making, and program formation are tackled day-to-day in the professional training environment. Focusing on those three skills will amplify your success in the field.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

When not at work, I enjoy windsurfing, playing the saxophone, meeting people from around the world, and collaborating on innovative multimedia endeavors in the NYC area.
